DESCRIPTION: “Minecraft Score” is a scoring project of the popular game “Minecraft.” I recorded gameplay footage from my PC of myself playing the game on my friend and I’s world. During the recording, I accidentally ran into a boss monster and died in the process. I then took the footage and stripped it of any game sound effects and edited the video for time using Premiere Pro. Afterwards, I imported the new video into Ableton and created my own track from there using royalty free sound effects combined with my own sounds and noises.

The process included myself and a team to measure the house, set up all of the equipment, create the assets, and run the show. This project was my first commission outside of school and was a great learning experience. It was great to see the reactions of everyone who viewed our work during Halloween night!
