DESCRIPTION: “7 Words” is a piece created with my small class group, “Industrial Duck Quack.” We created a piece using 7 words and then made it into a song all within one class period of about 90 minutes. First, my group recorded the 7 base words in one of the practice rooms on campus. Then we used each individual word, edited it, and included it into the song where we then added the rest of the sounds and background noises.

The process included myself and a team to measure the house, set up all of the equipment, create the assets, and run the show. This project was my first commission outside of school and was a great learning experience. It was great to see the reactions of everyone who viewed our work during Halloween night!
